Hi guys,

Yet another problem with my Heng Long Sherman has reared its nasty head.

Problem:

Doesn't run after start up, engine noise from speaker engages as normal, once settled MG doesn't Fire turret doesn't Fire and tank won't move any direction.

Now here's the Quandry:

When you remove the upper hull and disconnect it, the tank once turned on works fine in the movement sense with no issues.

When you then reconnect the upper hull, the symptoms return and the tank doesn't work..

Merlin, is the battery fully charged ? Sounds like a juice issue.

Yup I'm with Michael... you would be surprised how much the LEDs draw....if not the battery check the 11pin plug in....there could be a cross causing a short ...stick your fingernail between the ones that look suspect

Hi Ariel problem sounds like make sure you have a good contact with the ariel lead . if that is good try squeezing the legs on the crystal together a little.

I'll have a look at the 8 pin connector later when I'm home.

Hopefully it will be that as my battery was fully charged, just annoyed as you'd expect things to work when you pay all the money we do for these tanks.

Lots of problems with H/L tanks lately it seems.

Good Luck Merlin....hope you don't have to change that plug in....this is the one you swapped the RX isn't it ?
