Simplified rewiring of HL Part 1
Re: Simplified rewiring of HL Part 1
hi - just joined up after reading this post of yours which is very informative for new comers like me. I am relatively new to RC tanks and have a HG Tiger 1 (non recoil) and made the mistake of buying a Tamiya turret with a recoil barrel then found out the two are not just plug and play so is it possible to connect the two? are there any wiring diagrams available?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
what exactly did you buy in Tamiya? except a lot of work, it will be very difficult to adapt a Tamiya turret on an HL tank, which is mechanically different. It would be easier (personal opinion) to find an HL turret and RX plate in 2.4 Gh, cabling the same for an old 27 Mhz generation.

Your other post says Taigen Turret, It is quite important to know which you mean.
I think I am about to upset someone

Apologies for that it is indeed a Taigen turret with recoil main gun

Hello
whether it is a Taigen system with the Asiatam canon recoil? there is no problem of adaptation, except maybe rewiring? for that it would take some photos of the existing one, to confirm (easier)
is this system?

This is the turret. I am still trying to figure out how to post pictures.
I will try my best to post some though...

I could not help noticing that the instructions for the Taigen Turret warns against trying to match it to a Heng Long Tiger 1 unless you are prepared to get involved with some rewiring,
I think I am about to upset someone

Do not use that on/off switch if you have a HL 6.0 board

if I understand ? it is the Airsoft system with recoil of the barrel by servo? to operate with an RX 18 you need the following module, connected to the power supply, and take the most 5 volts on the small switch of the reversing system
