Thanks to a kind member of this forum I now have a gutted tamiya Sherman. I'm shortly ordering a 47degree small hatch resin hull off nick Aguilar and then I'll be ready to rock and roll.

This is the aspiration:

This will be running parallel to a couple of other post war shermans

A small update, I've now ordered all the parts to build two of these. One will be for me and one will be going up for sale.

If anyone's interested give me a shout and we can discuss!

Good Morning, Tom,
That's a great offer! You do very detailed and amazing work. If I had more confidence in Shippers lately, I would be knocking on your (virtual) door.
regards,
Painless

Many thanks to woz who's wonderful parts turned up today!

I've decided to try and get the turret built so I'm ahead when the nick Aguilar hulls arrive. On this I'm using the Tamiya turret but as woz has built the parts for henglong I might get one of these as the conversion will be easier.

Anyway. I've added the bustle extension, built up the mantlet and got it pivoting for the elevation. I've also started soldering up periscope guard, added a split hatch and added the filler to blend the turret bits together.
