Thought I would post a few pictures for the actual size of the models setting next to each other for those who may not have seen the various scales.  They are --1/6 1/12 1/16  1/24  1/25  1/35   ;D

LOL, i thought you were going to start bragging about something else   But seriously its good to see the different scale's like this, all you need now is a 1/4 and possibly a 1/1 but dont try and get that on your dining table 

I would love to have a 1/4 scale,but way over my budget.The most I have paid for a tank was $250.00 dollars with shipping for one of my 1/6 stuart's that was still new in the box.(not the one pictured).I do have the room for a 1-1 size and could even drive it around in the field,but might be a little hard on the lawn------

P.S. when I see the 1/4 scale tanks,I drool all over the key pad-----

i spent the last 30 odd years doing 1/35th scale models, now when i do a 1/16th tank it brings all kinds of new problems mainly holding the big stuff for painting and ( i know this sounds stupid ) but in 1,35th i sit and look at the built and primed model for about an hour or so and i can see the type of camo it needs, but in 1/16th ( for me ) its harder my wsn tiger is all primed and ready for paint but at the moment i just cant see the camo scheme at all, i have been sitting looking at it all night and nothing has come to mind, looks like its gonna be a long night......

I started off modelling 1/72 when Gods dog was a pup then moved up to 1/35th. I couldn't believe how big they were when I built them compared to 1/72nd. After a while they all got shoved in the loft.

A couple of years ago I started up my hobby again and went to 1/16th. A few of weeks back, whilst sorting the loft, I got my old 1/35th out. I couldn't believe how tiny they were. I put two tigers together and it looked like the 1/16th had just given birth!

I know what you mean about the camo Oz. I primed one of my pershings ready for painting but it took me weeks to pluck up courage to do it. When you make a mistake it certainly seems to stand out more.

Having said that I would love a 1/6th Stuart but they seem pretty rare and those that are about are fairly expensive, god knows what the postage would be, probably a small mortgage. Then again I'd have satans sister bursting a blood vessel if I did get one. Nine tanks is already too many but 30 plus handbags ( I joke not) apparently, is NEVER enough. Go figure.

The 1/6 stuarts are kind of my favorite tanks.I allways find it kind of sad that you guys on the other side of the pond seem to appriciate them more than the guys on this side,and we have them all over the place at bargin prices.They are well made if a guy don't abuse them,and are a lot of tank for the money.They are big and around 25 pounds in weight,and a lot of guys just dont have room for them.The big drawback for you guys in the UK is the damn shipping cost,just don't seem to be a reasonable way to get them accross the pond at present.

I saw one in a Wal marts going back a few years now, I should have bought it then and found some way of getting it back here, neccesity being the mother of invention and all that. Bit late now.
