Faulty Sherman

Well spoke to Howes Models / Hobby Power again this morning to discuss what was wrong with my Sherman.

It turns out they had provided me with a dud, the RX18 board had overheated and melted the internals, the sound board hadn't been connected and the motor had both wires soldered to the same connection.

They have replaced all parts and are in the process of shipping back to me via overnight FedEx courier.

The service from these guys has been phenomenal and thanks to this forum for pointing me in there direction.

Sounds like they took good care of you. Let us know how it runs when it arrives.

Runs perfectly now, no issues and the sound quality is a vast improvement.

Good to hear you got it all sorted in the end. Now all you need is a nice day to get out and enjoy your sorted Sherman.

Good to heat they took care of you. Sounds like H/L needs to do some quality control.

I'm actually impressed with the after sales service and speed in which it was repaired and re-delivered back to me.

I'm glad it's repaired Merlin, I know from experience how it is to receive a faulty tank.
