tamiya consider the ingredients for their paints as a bit of a trade secret, the E/U says tamiya must put all the paint ingredients on the jars, tamiya refuse so the E/U intend to ban them........... :-[

I suppose tamiya could list the contents of the paint, but not the quantity of the ingredients
is the USA having this problem with Tamiya paints

Sorry to say it's not just Tamiya paints that are in ths sh@t, I heard at the Huddersfield show last weekend from traders that Vallejo are in the same boat - so stock up guys.

8 yrs ago i started the Washington model club there was no problems until the PC brigade wanted to see the tools the club members would use they almost had a stroke when they saw them, we had better get used to water based paints you know the ones i mean, the type a 5 year old uses in play school because soon we will have nothing else.............. >:( >:( >:(

what a bunch of ring-pieces those EU cretins are, its no different than when our banana's were to bent and the like, its morons sitting in an office with their thumbs up their ar@es taking an obscene wage who dream up all this bulls@#t, what do the pr@~ks think we are going to do with the paint?, make a weapon or something?, why dont someone start a petition or the like to stop this bloody nonsense, before it ruins our hobby

we could petition this as much as we like, in fact its a good idea but i cant see these idiots listening to anything the people say, they never have done before...........

you may be right Tony, but if we do nothing then those eu tossers get their way. but if we can get enough people to put their names to it, then we may stand a chance, what i will do is have a word with the mrs(she's a mod on another forum or 2) and see if there is something we can do
