Today postman brought me a parcel. It's a rare Andrews design model of the Sd.Kfz.222:

Very cool, didn't know a 1:16 kit of a 222 existed. I've got the 1:6 Armortek one in storage waiting...
Looking forward to your build!

Eddy!
That is beautiful and looks like it is going to be a ton of fun. The things you find that just come out of the Blue are amazing!

P.S. If you find this helpful, here are 66 pictures of a real 222 for you. As far as I've heard there is only one original running 222 in the world today. It was at the MVTF in California, probably moved by now to the East Coast US.
I got special access and took a ton of pictures of the vehicle for my research when I build my Armortek. Hope these can be useful to you as well!
Here are my pictures when I visited earlier this year.

Really curios how this come together. Been looking at one of these for a while but never taken the plunge. I of cause would do it up like Gruber's little tank.

Yes, it will be lot of fun to make this model and work on the detailing!!! For now I have three models to work on - I have to finish Super Pershing first and then I should decide who will be the next patient - Schwimmwagen that I'm trying to make r/c or this one beauty... ))
Many thanks for the link! There are lot of usefull infos!

Hate to be a bug but you might want to grease those drive gears. Not sure if it's necessary but I like to grease anything drive related.
Model is looking good! I like the 222.

Good Morning,
I'm really pleased with the appearance of this kit. The fact that it is a real RC vehicle just makes it that much sweeter.
