Rctank.de stencils

Has anyone used these:

I can't quite work out how the sticky back plastic is for, anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

may be wrong but the pic looks like a stencil for spraying if u look at the crosses the one is for white and the other is for black nice bit of kit don't know how well it would work on zim surfaces tank zone was advertising a stencil at one time sold out now been trying to find one myself hope this helps

Hey, I understand how a stencil works, just not where the sticky back plastic fits in. If rather not learn the hard way if possible

Hi tom,
Used something like this a few years ago. If they are the same the sticky back stuff is to stop the paint creeping under the paint mask it should the low tac type.Brian...

Hey Brian, could you elaborate how you applied the sticky back plastic. I've got a sheet of stencils which have a low tac backing, then there's a sheet of stick back plastic. The instructions look like you put the stick back plastic over the stencil, the. Apply to the tank , then peel off, which seems sort of pointless!

Hi Tom,
The ones I used witch was a good few years ago the back of the stencil sheet was a low tack adhesive
The numbers were pre cut. So you put the stencil on the tank or in my case an aeroplane rub down remove the number or whatever and spray the paint leave to dry a remove the stencil.weather they are the same I don't know. Brian...

Any sign of your turret? IDF markings are all straight lines so you can just use asking tape!
