Hello guys.
I have just knocked up a cam / spy/ tank in about 45 mins,
take one older tank , decapitate its turret, plate over, preferably with ali sheet.
and mount on it the headcam seen in the photographs to follow.
I purchased this on fleebay, for a measly £32.00. and am astonished at the performance,
it is as good as any h.d. cinecam. and is made of aluminium. like the miniature torches.
It is full h.d.and even in rainy conditions, filmed through a wet window,
it gave excellent results.
Hand on heart, I can recommend it.
hopefully, my good mate "Alpha",can find the time, to put the pics on here for me,
bless his little cotton y fronts !!
Cheers all . Wads.

cool, i would have left the turret on to give remote panning , or did it cause issues with the cam? still, very cool

I like it! Looks like a TOW mount!
Could do the same thing with a turret on. Just remove the cupola and any roof bits sticking up and mount it there although you would have to arc the camera down a little. This set up should be pretty much the right height.

Hi Guys.
First of all thanks to my" photographer in residence",
Next yes, i will attend to the front end, I had not actually noticed it, shows the value of pics,
As for keeping the turret ,this was hastily converted from the bridge tank, and the turret had already been sold.
plus I wanted a low centre of gravity, lastly it gives a cats eye view of the surrounding garden etc.
but I look forward to making a video.
Alpha, unpack those bags, no need to emigrate !!
Cheers all. Wads.
