What about Torro?

Looking for some KT parts, metal hull and all the related upgrade parts for my Taigen and it looks like the only place I can find it is directly from Torro. Once again I didn't find them in either vendor list anyone know anything about them?

Either that or does anyone have any leads on the metal hull, road wheels, idler wheels and drive sprockets?

The Taigen hulls motor mount screw holes are stripping out and a couple of the upper hull mount screw holes on the lower have cracked and I want to head things off at the pass before I have any serious issues. Don't understand as I only snug things to the German standard of "guttentight" which I thought would have been prefect for my German tank but I guess not.

Hey Jack...try checking with Horses...I forgot what thread it was on ..but he has a link for the Torro shop...also you can copy what dgsselkirk did to reinforce his hulls..and pour resin into it ...it should reinforce the suspension towers and such

Hmmmm...... fiberglass resin would sure make it stronger and I could re-drill the mounting holes and use it to plug off any of the switch mounting holes so I can relocate the switches like I did on my Tiger. Thats a pretty good idea Alpha.

Thanks Jake! I found a different site but its Torro as well so who knows?

Curtis from Immortal Hobbies is gonna see what he can find and how long it'll take to get them. Not gonna need the road wheels as I remembered the Taigen hull's arms use the same locking hex screws as the Torro hull does so no point in getting them.

However now that I think about it doesn't the Jadgtiger use the same, slightly modified, hull as the King Tiger? Hmmmmmm...... I maaaaaayyyyyy be looking for parts for one of these next! :haha:

Jack,

THe JT does use a slightly modded KT lower, about 26cm longer in real life. I have taken a Taigen metal KT hull and extended it myself. Basically move the back plate along with the idler tensioner back and fill the gap with styrene pieces:

And here is what it looks like:

Hey Michael...did you have to extend the upper hull as well? just like Jack...kind of thinking of doing one after I'm done with my KT ;)
