				Yep, that is issue #1. Once you turn those puppies around and you still have rub which is a common occurrence on HL's just get out the hairdryer and take the upper deck off so you can apply heat from behind and bend out slightly...

I thought of that, i have my wife hair dryer and a heat gun...I think the heat gun would make a bad mess of my tank fast though of course!  

   How do you know not to go too far and heat the plastic too much by mistake?  
I thought of bending them outwards to look battle damaged but, they were armored skirts, I have never seen a photo of one with bent skirts-missing yes, bent no...I considered all the options to this point, anything's better then to do damage to the upper hull- so expensive!  But i have thought to do more body work, been hesitating and considering exactly how, naturally you'd want to do it right since there's no do-overs.

				The other thing to start with first is sand them down. They are wayyyy to thick for scale.
