thats a pretty cool bit of kit youy have there, it would be the perfect prop' for a D-day based battle

Thanks Tony, we did a show at a local stately home where they had a boating lake edged in grass that sloped down to the water it was great fun to head into the bank at full throttle and 'beach' so to speak, it also proved the design of the real one and the model behaved in a similar way plus the crowd found it high amusing. I'm afraid thats the nearest I got to a scale landing!

OK got a start on the "Landing Craft Utility Special". :haha:

I picked out all the bits I liked and left off the bits I didn't like and made it to fit into the back of my car. ;)

Sorry to all of the rivet counters it has a welded hull :D
