Rocketmans best birthday ever

So my devious sister treated Rocketman to a surprise afternoon of tank driving last weekend for his birthday and I think you could say he was rather chuffed! We'd arranged to meet in a pub car park and were chatting over a drink when the unmistakable squeal of a tracked vehicle caught everyone's attention. RM smugly mentioned that could be a 432 when this pulled into the drive... Cue the posing!
He recognised the owner immediately as the husband of someone my sister works with and just about exploded when he was told, were all getting on for a drive! 20mins charging through Surrey lanes sat on top of the tank was a lot of fun. 30mph feels a lot faster when you're 10feet up on top of a 17ton tank and not really got a lot to hold onto
That's when we got to "our field" had a quick explanation of the controls and we're let loose! We all got a good drive and then birthday boy got a 2nd go and definitely wasn't holding anything back!

Sadly we weren't allowed on the owners other tanks, T54 or the T34, maybe next time
