Can anyone tell me if the HL Jagdpanther is the same size as the Tamiya one? I just wanted to be sure that they haven't taken an existing lower hull and made the upper hull fit.  If anyone can tell me the suspension set up that would be grand as well.

Hi, well I dont own a Tamiya Jagpanther so cant compare there. But I do own both the HL Jagdpanther  and Panther and can confirm the new Jagdpanther is a totally new chassis, a much better build, I reckon very close to the tamiya version.
Infact I had some Tamyia sprockets,idlers and tracks and they went straight on. Also  adding some extra detail with photo etching, engine grills etc, they seem to fit fine.
Think the Tamiya barrel is slightly longer.

Hi Guys Thanks Nige for the link the only differance I can spot between the 2 of them is the barrel lenght a bit short on the Heng long exhaust is differant and the lower front hull .I think it looks so much like the Tamiya I feel sorry for anyone who has bought the Tamiya .With a few mods it will be as good at half the price.

rob only major difference i could spot is the lower front chassis angle is less than the tammy probably due to the gearboxes

oh and as maverick said the tam barrel is longer
