Hi all

Just received some black steel gears for my HL Purshing, I went to install them and only one of the screws that hold the gears down will go tight, the other two will not tighten at all on the left hand side of the tank. I was thinking will I need a replacement lower hull ? any ideas.

thanks Jake

Another suggestion Jake... put a drop of crazy glue in the screw hole... and pack some two part epoxy putty around the pillar... it'll be plenty strong :D

You may want to reinforce the mounting posts as suggested in this video ....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxErRPc9Xhk

Yup that works too... just be careful not to snap off the tower.... it's also good to pack epoxy putty around the brass too...helps keep it in place ...there's a bunch of tricks to reinforcing those towers
