Hi Richy
How much is this unit plus P&P to grantham lincs.
I have a few HL units with RX-18 fitted and am thinking of trying 1 of these units
regards Denzil.

HI Denzil

it cost me about £12 as I don't need it any more call it £10 posted ? its only small and fits in a small jiffy so postage shouldn't be that much tbh

So is there an anti-track recoil that WILL work with the Taigen 2.4?

Thanks Richy, but unless I am reading the website wrong, it looks as if the one for the Taigen unit should be:

DRAGON SMD - Solder FREE Track Recoil Removal

http://rctanksaustralia.com/shop/index. ... cts_id=216

Sadly it's sold out...

The only other one Kevin does is:

NEW IMPROVED ATRC MKI

http://rctanksaustralia.com/shop/index. ... ucts_id=18

This only fits with the RX-18 (and his MAKO board).

Oh well...

Richy, I have some used MAKO boards with ATRC that I will sell for cheap. I have them for my Taigen 2.4Ghz before so I know they will work. PM me if you are interested and we will work something out.

From what I can gather the mako board can be used with the taigen unit but you need to be able to get to the wires in the turret and the taigen tanks are glued shut ?

pls correct me if im wrong if you have already done the mod and it works but I cant get my head around what wires do what and what plugs are needed to keep the gun recoil and flash

Kev Basically said its a lot of hassle to do it, he said hes done one but never again lol.....

Man this hobby is a pain in the Butt. Ive built and flown basic model helis and fixed wing and thought this would be easier lol... I can see my tank either going up on evilbay or in flames one of the two that's for sure..... how hard can it be to keep the main gun recoil and flash unit going while stopping the tank destroy the gears every time you wanna fire the gun

I appreciate all the help Dave and Kev have given me over the past few weeks and there patience is obv wearing thin so I apologise

Richy,

This is the Taigen 2.4Ghz MFU that you are talking about, right ? As far as I know and I did this to my entire Taigen fleet back when I was on it, you unplug the 5 pin that is going into CN2, and plug it into the MAKO, and then plug the 5 pin from the MAKO back into the Taigen MFU CN2 spot and that's it. (Well you still need to snip the motor wires for the ATRC).

Did Kev say what needs to be done in the turret ? I can shoot him an email too.........He was going to get back to me with some Hammerhead info so I will ask about it too.
