Hi all,
Sorry if this has already been asked before - but what colour is best for painting inner wheel areas on Tiger 1 ?
I opted to gun blue my metal wheels & tracks and will wash later with brown to make look rusty, and once tracked rubbed on concrete - should shine up some areas silvery but and I'm not sure about inside wheels. (Black / muddy)?
I have applied airbrush base coat on hull and turret, with another coat due to hide grey plastic, before I have my first attempt at camo pattern . Fingers crossed.

Usually the base color of your tank...so if you are modelling a tank that you say initially came from the factory say...painted grey ...then it would be grey...the camo would transfer to basically the wheels only... the under hull would remain the same color it originated with
