Not sure how many of you have seen it...but here it is...the new gen 2.4 gig rig from HENG LONG

Notice the new buttons added to the controller...they turn on/off the smoker... and adjusts the volume... 5points... the loud is very loud
The RX no longer has the ports for the volume and on/off ... the spaces are empty... so yay... less wires to mess with :D

This is the early gen... speaker volume and smoker switch ports still there..just like the old RX...the tech support did say...that by leaving them off you can still control it with the new transmitter...but I haven't tested that...................... yet ;)

Hoping this is what's going to be coming standard in all the new 2.4 gig Heng Long Tanks... :D ...I don't care about it not having a fan...as the air that is supposed to cool the board is based on the internal ambient temperature you are playing in... so if it's a hot day... you will be blowing hot air on an already heated board ;)

Sure Tiger...both gen rigs bind in the same manner.... the three point port on the bottom left hand corner is where you plug the binding button into

Hook everything in the tank up before starting the binding procedure.... after that turn on the power to the tank...(better if you are in a relatively secluded place)...then turn the power on on the transmitter.... press the binding button on the tank... then press the key button on the transmitter ...hold for a few seconds... and it should be bound... let go both ...then press the key button on the transmitter...the tank should then start up :D

If later you get another Heng Long or install a 2.4 gig rig... you can use the same binding button go through the same steps and bind it to the same controller...the button does not have to stay attached...once bound you can remove it

If I can be of anymore assistance let me know...as I'm not sure I was clear enough  ............. :haha:

I didn't know you could remove the binding switch...i thought of doing that now but if i do i will lose it.

You can also tell when its bound, because the headlights will go solid light and stop flashing.

Yup...that port in the normal RX is for the antenna... since the 2.4 doesn't need one... you can take the binding button off to program other units...Basically saying once you have a TX and the button...all you need is more 2.4 gig RXes :D
