Apologies to the board

A little less than two weeks ago... I did something totally off the wall .... something no one has attempted or done... I put a seller on the Blacklist
I finally received the item yesterday... so the seller was not an all out con...
With that said... he wasn't totally truthful... as the kit was nothing more than a cheap re cast ...I'm not saying his intentions were dishonest... as he has opened a thread regarding the composition of the resin...and apparently several you also do not know the difference in the quality of casting resins
I also do not believe this kit is an Asiatam...as I have come to respect the quality that name implies
Anyway... Apologies to the board... board Moderators for the hub bub which was the backlash of my initial concerns
ALPHA
PS CAVIAT EMPTOR EVERYBODY

Also though I don't think it is necessary... I did win the case with Paypal... just felt it wasn't worth the effort to pursue ...as I rather trash the kit than see it back in circulation

I would like to know how you've won your PayPal case as your item was posted within 48 hours and you've only just recieved it. I know from personal experience and other experience getting your money back takes a lot longer.

I assume the seller has a track record... things progressed faster than I could have imagined....it was the fastest I've ever experienced ...as in some the negotiation would drag for more than a month

and just like you... get refunded much later...It hit me as rather strange myself

the kit IS asiatam, and i do not have a track record on paypal there used to be a feature to check this but paypal seems to have removed it
i have 2 complaints on paypal this is the only one against me ever in over a decade of use,the other is ironicly against profline after the company ceased trading
for the record you opened an item not recived complaint to which paypal was given tracking information to confirm that item was posted and in transit you then changed to an item not as described,to which paypal decided that if item was returned i should issue a refund WHEN item was returned this is a usual response from paypal in an item not as described case, which you then closed after receiving the item
if there was one thing wrong i did in the case it was not messaging you after you transferred funds as i was busy sorting out stuff for work the following morning and forgot for that i do apologise,
i have tried to sort this and it seems now i have gone from scammer to forger

Like I said to Tom... the claim progressed much faster than I had expected ... I have never seen Paypal escalate a case on their own ....It may have ended but that was because of me...as I did contact them by email as well... and they were prepared to escalate even further after the offered resolution...but I figured it wasn't worth the added effort ...and I think this sample will be a better tool for teaching what is bad resin and good resin

PS... I never suggested or implied you are a forger... I really don't think you have the equipment to do this recast... reason I didn't say that...What I did say is...I didn't think this is made by Asiatam...as I believe they have a higher level of quality control
