Old pics of my HL jagpather

Post by greengiant »

This is pretty much a stock BB shooter. I moved the controls off the bottom, on off switch in center of rope coil holder, everything else is inside the rear facing main superstructure door including a charging plug. Opened up the engine deck door and hinged the spent shell cover. Also moved the antenna to its correct superstructure location, and did some quick storage box lids and of course repainted it.

If I remember right I had just bought a product called RUST ALL. It included a bottle of what looked like very thinned out water based rust color that you applied over and over again until you reached the level of rust appearance you wished to achieve. It took forever to get it the dark rust color in the picture. Now I just use rust color flat enamel paint thinned a little and apply until its rusty enough looking then maybe wash with some very thin flat black if I want areas of the rust to be darker. Thanks for the tank paint job compliment Its all bush work.

Thanks. there is one more thing I did. I made new rails to hold the spare track sections and made the holders and pins. Still haven't gotten around to adding the chains that hold the pins
