Possible KUROMORIMIRO JagdPanzer IV

Post by ALPHA »

Been sitting on my Duff lately... thinking how simple my Panther will be... did a lot of research... and though there are several tiny details I could do...basically Heng Long did a really good job on that tank...so... thinking I need something extra to do... think I might undertake this baby

No promises lol... but if I can scrounge up enough parts ... it's very doable :D

Hey Alpha, I am also doing one of these using the Profiline kit. Mine will have zimmerite though.

I will be at the Munster Panzer museum this weekend, and planning to take lots of pix of this.
Happy to send you a set of pix if you are interested in this (or anything else there).

Cheers

Hi Alpha,

Just finished mine last week and brought it out to tank day in Oshawa where it ran perfect for a day and then blew out the clark board the next! Ha! (Not the board's fault all mine for a loose wire)
I will post some of the build and some tank day pics too later this week or on the weekend. If you want a sneak peak you can go to our club forum and see some pics.

Go to our forum and look under Thanks to everyone who came out to Oshawa

Alright...there seems to be overwhelming support for me to do this build...Bad news.... I have enough bits to do it... but the chassis is severely compromised... It is second hand...and apparently the previous owner cut everything out... so the bucket is much too weak to support the build as a whole
So Sorry gang.. this build is on hold

Good Morning,
This is good news! I'm looking forward to enjoying your work on this one. I had not given a lot of thought to this series of AFVs but they are really a visual treat once you take the time to look one over.
regards,
Painless
