I wonder if anyone knows of a definitive lubricant for Tank gearboxes? Obviously it will be different for a nylon box, but what about the Brass, steel and whatever the metal Heng Long use, I use Lithium grease but I have no idea if it is doing good or ill. shaun

I generally don’t bother with the gears (most of it flies off) and focus on the gear shafts in the gearbox wall. I use some silicone grease.
But to be honest no idea if helps in anyway.

So I use commercially accessories chain spray from the motorcycle.
The first is very thin and creeps into every crevice. That is because it's made ??for open chains dirt-resistant and pressure-resistant. In addition, it remains sticky on the gear wheels adhere
