New member needing some advice.

Good Morning All.

Hope you are all well.

ok guys ive been looking at getting a Clarke TK-22 Sound Card for my HL Sherman at least and then hopefully one for my HL Jagdpanther (when i get it!) lol!
I have seen it advertised from "Tankzone" for a reasonable price.

Now although im not a total novice to the hobby i have never ventured into upgrading the insides of my Tanks.. So please take it easy on me here! ;)

Questions i have are...

will the Clark board plug straight into the RX18 unit?

Will the standard 27mhz Transmitter be sufficient to run the basic controls?

Will the standard speaker emit good enough sound?

Will the smoker still work ok with the Clark?

Will i need a different Receiver?

Im currently in the process's of ordering some bigger batteries so hoping that will help too.

Apologies for all the questions guys.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the best.

Mark.

Mark, Hi , The biggest single downside to buying a CLARK board in the UK is TANKZONE they are to be found on the Forums BLACKLIST and for a number of very good reasons. If you have not yet been to the BLACKLIST I recommend you do so now, If you wish to uprate your board There are a number of others available, Tankbear, a member of this Forum is the UK dealer for the IBU2 and the IBU2 PRO a number of us use these boards and it has my praise, but whatever upgrade, you will need a new radio transciever. Please take the advise of someone who has been poorly dealt with by TANKZONE, give them a very wide berth, pain and anger lie that way.Tankbears site is ,
www.rctankelectronics.weebly.com
hope that helps . shaun

Hi Mark, Tankbear will give you a better idea about the price of an IBU2 but I would reckon on £ 120ish and if you trawl E-BAY you can get a decent radio for £50+ but Tankbear is the man to talk to, you will find him to be most helpful , do bear in mind that a CLARK board is about £110 plus the price of the radio so there is not much of a difference in cost, take care. shaun

Happy to help with the fit Mark.

Also if you fancy a lift up to Manchester to pick up an IBU2 at a MAD meet I am sure I will be going up Aug or Sept.
