Is there an early 1/16 Brummbar kit made?? I have the late version from Juckenburg but would love to find an early war one.

Profiline made one. They're out of business at the moment, but are supposed to be re-released by Asiatam. My only complaint with their Brummbar kit is that the (thick) roof hatches are molded shut, and cutting them open would leave a visibly thick surround. Beautiful resin casting, though.

Any idea as to a time frame? If they do come out with it will it be cheaper than profiline was? I remember their kits being costly.

Sorry; no idea of the timeframe. I only read in the past couple of days that they'd bought up the molds and would re-release the line. Profiline's kits were pricey, but they were cast with great detail and rarely any surface defects at all. I had the Imperial Jagdpanzer IV L/70 (A) for a Heng Long hull, and was satisfied with it until Profiline came out with their own kit of it - MUCH better castings and fit of parts. I scrapped the whole project and fit the Profiline kit to a Tamiya chassis, and am much more satisfied.
