hi all.
the kt was my first tank 18 months ago
& after trawling various forums, was astounded by what you can do to a tank (if your brave enough)
so after "borrowing" lots of ideas off different people i thought i'd thank them all!
1st is jrc for his awesome post on moving all the switches & wiring in a recharge socket
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6872

dietrich for a very cool way to cut out hatches
viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3601

brel for making more room by cutting out the battery box.
no link but heres mine

can you guess how big my speaker box is now? :haha:

dgsellkirk for the zimmerit & other bit's & bobs
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=10535

strmond54 for his cool smoker mods
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=8027

a special mention go's out to wibbly for all his help to my dumb questions, particularly my clark board woes :/
& dragon245 for the same & suggesting i put my ir & flash bulb, down the barrel
nigel for his "black motor" turret mod.
scalawag for his painting, weathering & decal tips (weathering & decals, still to do)
i'm sure i'll have to edit this later because i've missed someone :{
anyway, thanks all, you've helped me make this

You used the string trick Lister? :O ...been afraid to try... as I remember that trick from way back.....when first reading through the board...I think it was either Shaun or Painless....that said the weight just missed his foot when it cut loose from the cord :haha:

With that said ... nice Job Lister

thanks painless, as always not perfect but good enough ;)
@ dgsselkirk, the other posters ideas may or may not be originally theirs but it was where i got them from.
it seemed only polite to thank them for their efforts in unknowingly helping me.
it has nowhere near the detail of your kt but it's a battler & my driving isn't that good! :haha:
& yes, i shall keep updating untill it's finished
thanks alpha, yep, i have wooden floors so after the string snapped the first time
i put a large cushion under it.
to be honest you can see the thread starting to fray so you get an inkling when it's going to give way.
@ dragon, thanks mate
it should be finished for ashdown 8)
cheers

There are only 5 original ideas in the world, everything else comes from them. Or so I have been told. So yes, I have learned things from others for sure and continue to learn on this site. Thanks to all on this site who are so generous with their work!   :D
