I'm not sure if anyone wondered.... "Can ALPHA really paint?" well I don't know.... you tell me... these are just a couple of the Garage kits I made some 25 yrs ago
the first is IRIA... a fictional character from a movie Zeiram

A Japan Cult Classic... and one of my favorite Movies of all time :D

She is made of vinyl ... though I do also own the resin model... I preferred this one because it included her cape... and the way I made it ... the cape is removable

This was my favorite time for using my airbrush... something I have no need for on my tanks... so far ;)

Now this guy needs no Introduction... one of the last figures I made
BRUCE LEE

This figure is now out of production... the original sculpt was kind of strange to say the least....He originally held Kali sticks...and had a sash across the front of his pants... that had to go... as it resembled a huge you know what... and I preferred him holding the weapon he made famous...the nunchaku ....so that's all scratched also his open hand .. as it was closed ..holding one of the Kali sticks

ENJOY

Hey no oogling the babe :haha: :haha: :haha: ...Just kidding Tiger :D ...it's actually the reason I like the Movie and the figure...the Japanese are very good with their ....what is called "live action" sculpts... and also the reason the movie is a Cult Classic
Image
the Actress...Yuko Moriyama... she also starred in the sequel... Zeiram 2
Image
unfortunately before the figure was released...it was totally sold out ...and it was never transferred to vinyl ...the resin figure is so rare it still commands a premium in price... original release price was 250 US...the last time I saw one was on Ebay about 5 or 6 years ago... it finally went for 800 dollars unbuilt 8O
there are a couple of other vinyl kits of her Zeiram 2 appearance...but the skulps aren't that good.. think they were done in Taiwan or Hong Kong
you can still find those...and since building garage kits is a dying art... they can be had pretty cheaply ...but there is hardly any resemblance to the actress :'(

Anyway.. you're right...I also thought she was pretty good looking in the movie... it gave great incentive to do the figure :D

Glad you like her....thanks for the kind words Tiger

ALPHA

ps. the top photo is from Zeiram 1 the bottom Zeiram 2..she trimmed down quite a bit.. so somewhere.. she's there... ;)

Just think.. the figures were done when there was really no internet... no google no nothing...details came from watching the videos over and over

This is the movie prop

never got a good look at the gun... it was always in the shadows...or tossed somewhere
close enough I think :D

WOW Mr Alpha..............I can see you would have been hoping the movie "Wierd Science" came to be a marketing tool for a machine that you could have used to make a real life one of those !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(guns !)
Your current choice is stark white, and I can see why. You have put so much effort into airbrush art that the novelty is well worn off methinks ?!!
That is off-tap mate.............

:haha: ...Beautiful Women wielding BIG weapons... indeed sir...a definite thumbs up  ............. ;)
The airbrushing thing... one day... when it is needed...right now I like revisiting the days of old... when skilled brush work is where a story could be told...to which at present... I am but an apprentice to the Craft ;)

Thanks Herman Cheers Buddy
