this is my new Sherman ,tankbear did a re wire job on it for me,changed it to taigen t5,I did some welding with my new welder some general tweeking and then a dulux,wot wot hope you like her ?..........some pics more to follow when she is all tooled up her name is mertle after the mrs.........

job done all tooled up not messing with this, this is it ....wot
wot , painted by me ,welding by me rewire to taigen t5 by rc tank electronics,[tankbear]
well pleased with this one ,the only thing is the taigen come hl all tanking sound,
the 2.4 mato radial engine sound was much better as was the machine gun sound ......wot wot

Very nice start to what can be a nice addition to any collection.
But if you cut the plastic sleeve right at the gun mantle slide the sleeve off without pulling the aluminum barrel out and add a drop or two of supper glue were the tube enters the mantle you will have a much more realistic sized barrel that still shoots.
There is also a problem with the way they molded the turret as it is much to tall.
If you go back through the show off forums and the build forums you will find how to cut about a 1/4 inch off the bottom of the turret which gives it a much better and more realistic look.

yes old chap, have done that with other Shermans but just left this one alone apart from a re wire ,may play with the barrel they are a mess ,I take it you mean just have the inner barrel ?....wot wot .....

...Just Kidding Canned ...nice paint job...like the color and the subtle detailing in the spare track rack ..you going to attempt any weathering on this one ?

no mike, will only make a mess ,as for barrel I have a solution [cheers] ? wot wot .......colour, that's toy soldier US drab , may just fit a 626 berretta instead of a browning ?????

I think it looks good as it stands ...sometimes simple is best.. in this case.. with the internals all sorted... she'll definitely be a sleeper ...it is still hard for me to get past those light guards... but they are durable

lowered the turret,new metal barrel ,put the plastic tracks back on her ,gave her a mucky wash? so hear she is finished wot wot .........
