RC Tank Warfare community hobby forum

Hello all,

I'll keep it short and simple.

I'm Lert, from the Netherlands. I play WoT on the NA server, and some of you might've read my posts on the forum there.

I've been interested in tanks eversince I was a kid. However, being fairly poor I was never able to get my hands on the larger scale R/C models. All that changed when HL started reaching the market here. Well, apart from being poor. I still am.

So far I've got only one R/C tank, which I will talk about and show off in another thread in the 'show off' subforum. Like so.

I've also got a second one on the way, namely this Torro T-34/85 with IR battle system. I should have it by wednesday, I hope. I guess I'll also find out then if this particular model runs on 8x AA batteries (in which case I'm going to have to mod the electronics as well) or 7.2 volt batterypack. I hope the latter ...

welcome aboard ,im new here also ,ive watched a lot of wot gameplay on yuot#be , how much space does that program take up ona pc?

The download is 7.2 gb, the fresh install footprint is like 20 gb.

I've been playing since closed beta. When the NA / EU split happened, most of my buddies stayed on the NA server, so I stayed with them.

Since I'm a bit of a night-owl I decided to stay with them.

Lister ... That name sounds familiar. Might you be Listy the Treadhead, from the old Achtung Panzer forums? I used to frequent there a long, long time ago. I used the name Ragnarok there.

Nope, I'm afraid not.
I do remember a listy from the eu forums, a Churchill nut if I recall.
I'm on the eu server under the same name.
I've been playing wot for a long time now
