I have been after a not readily available Schumo part which I can buy from a German Vendor, down side shipping as much as the part!!

So I conducted a little experiment ..... Contacted one of the recommended vendors and one of the blacklisted vendors that sometimes have said part. Just asked if available or if not when they may get it.

Well what a surprise!!! Recommended vendor contacts me back straight away, no stock but provides me with the timescale on the part... a long time sadly. But full credit to Steve at WDM for his as ever excellent coms. As for the blacklisted vendor, silence!! True to form!!!!! Their name _ankzone! I will leave it up to you to fill in with a T or a W!!

So conclusion of the experiment, especially if you're new here, do read the vendor reviews here on this excellent forum and take heed of members experiences as it will truly save you cash and provide you with a more pleasant transaction.

Interesting I had a similar experience this week. Have been after schumo tiger tow tables; no stock on WDM but Steve replies very quickly to say they've been discontinued. On tank zone say in stock but I always email to check first....no reply. Well he's lost a sale.

After some Sherman periscope guards.
axels-modellbau has them, but not your cables.. I looked in case you wanted to share an order.
