Would anyone be able to help with an engine sound generator for my tank? I have done a brief search and I cant find anything that would suit a WW2 diesel engine. They must be out there and I expect that they are 12 or 24 volts and need a speaker and hopefully have at least 2 levels of sound for a tank. One sound for idling with no movement and another for movement.

Hi
for the sound in you tank you can use a Benedini unit with amplifier and speaker. TBS Mini is ok for a tank. You have idle and movement engine sound plus secondary sounds like main gun, machine gun etc etc

I use it in my 1/6 Sherman.

I got one of these

a few years back when I bought a DBC3 from Dan at
http://battlearmorrc.weebly.com/
Works very well 4 input triggers (negative wire like HL), and can program sounds on a trigger with different sound files i.e. I had machine gun on one trigger and had short burst, long burst, echoing etc
Only down side is it can only play one sound at a time i.e. no engine and gun at same time.

how difficult is the electronics123 unit to program and install in your opinion. My needs are pretty basic. One engine sound when both drive motors are off(idling) and another engine sound when one or both of the drive motors are powered (driving)
thanks alot
