New Jagdpather build

I have just purchased a brand new Tamiya Jagdpanther on eBay at a good price. My existing Tamiya Tiger 1 has a gear reduction unit that was supplied by Applied Effects from the US back when I built it back in 2002. Does anyone know if a similar gear reduction unit is available for the Jagdpanther so that the speed is much more realistic. Thanks. Dave

I would avoid gear reductions like the plague if your going to do any proper off roading. I had the schumo geardowns in a king tiger and they riped up the gear boxes every time a stone caught in the idlers. The other issue is with a jagdpanther you will struggle to fit them under the main gun assembly.

Perhaps I wait and see what the Jagdpanther is like compared to my Tiger and then decide.
My current Tiger is 12 years old and has had a gear reduction fitted from day 1 and has not given any problems. Mind you it is not run outside that often.
