hi chaps wot wot ....have been told that this [pic] stops the old hl,s from the silly recoil ?supposedly you plug into your rx 18, there are only 2 sockets it will fit in, tried them both but still get the kick [on route 66] ? so thinking its a duff or not for recoil ?

Is it the dragon unit? My understanding is it plugs into the IR port. Plus have you wired the motors to the terminal blocks? Should only break one wire to each motor i.e. either red or black not both.

It kind of looks like one of the early Mako boards for killing the recoil. If it is that board, you have to insert the power wires into the large grey terminals at the right side of the board. There are a few youtube vids out there on this particular unit. Michael C may be more qualified to answer.

Its the old version of the RC Aussie Dragon ATRC. You definitely need to cut motor wires and hook it up to the grey terminals.

Canned are you using it with a HL RX18 or with a Taigen control board? The early dragons were not compatible with the Taigen 2.4GHz I believe.
