Hi again guys back with yet another daft question. It's about the asiatam recoil unit for the panzer III/IV . My question is :-

PLEASE tell me what colours/pin numbers the red, yellow and green go to on the H/L 8 pin connector. I have figured out the long black one ( to negative from battery )

Now don't laugh coz I is thick. BUT I removed the wiring from my tank's before I bought the recoil units with the full intention of wiring direct to the lighs, turret rotation and elevation/shot motor system at a later date. I then changed my mind and wanted barrel recoil and eventualy a battle system. I have taken to doing this with all my tanks so I can see what goes where at a glance and repairs can be undertaken in the field with a screwdriver ( well thats the theory anyway ). So if any kind persion out there will let me know what goes where and with luck a picture or two I would be eternaly greatfull. All the best for now
Alan

Next time I will buy HL recoil units and adapt them ( hope Andy of militarymight will have these soon  ;D ). All the best for now
Alan

Yellow wire on Heng Long goes to supply voltage to the recoil motor.  Blue wire goes to the elevation motor.  Red is supply positive voltage, and I would guess that  Green  is for the LED voltage , so you can try white, orange or Green.  I am going from memory

Note Heng Long uses common positive wiring, so the blue and yellow wires are negatives.

Black is negative supply to the recoil motor, and should be wired up through the contact switch. The Yellow wire just temporarily energizes the circuit when you move the throttle up.  Look at my modes to the Heng long gun, you could use that as a guide,
