I don't know whether you noticed the date of the post you commented on, but is is rather old. It is interesting to know however. I would imagine there are many more fakes than genuine medals being sold on the Internet.

The Tiger is fake... it’s based on a Russian T-something or other...
It’s has starred in quite a few movies, including g Valkyrie...
