now the work on the Leopard starts, because i ddont like realy much the A6 or A5 the HL get killed and transformad into an A4, but bevor we start the main work on the A4 Parts the realy poor hull of the Heng Long need some reinforcments to make it stronger.

here comes my first work on it.

Good Afternoon,
I'll definitely follow the build but was the lower hull of the HL Leopard that bad?

hi

jes, sure for a few walkarounds in the garden ist maybe ok, but you will not have much fune with it if you are using it more.
if i compare it with the henglong Panther hull (wich is at the moment the strongest ) its very weak. Its because of the dimension of that hull, thats the main problem. plastik huls like that need much more reenforcment. The HL Panther is an good exampel for that, i dont understand why thay doesnt do it the same way at the leopard.

Good Morning,
That will be something to look at for folks who buy the new Abrams and Challenger II coming out from Heng Long since they also have larger hulls with a lot of extra space in them compared to tanks like the Panther and Sherman. Taigen\Asiatam lower hulls made of metal with heavy duty suspensions and made for idler adjustments, etc. would solve the issue but cost more as well. Your fix for the Leopard is clean and strong and probably a lot cheaper.

hi

maybe i need to check it first, i think if thay are strong enough it is not a must, but if you want to use thinks in metal like tracks and roadweels and other stuff Tanks like the new Heng Longs will easyly reach 8 or more KG and that will maybe cause problem, but we will see. I m looking forward to see what will come.

Good afternoon, Christian,
I completely agree. I just finished a HL Sherman with metal tracks and sprockets\idlers and was amazed at the weight with such a relatively small tank. I expected it with my Tiger Royal but not the Sherman. I agree also that we are moving into a really bright, scale tanking era. The work that you do and the parts sets that you provide are proof of it.

Good Afternoon,
Very nice upgrades. I particularly love those Idler adjusters. They have helped a couple of my heavier tanks work correctly.

Hi

Thank you :-)

yes , i cant say anything bade about these adjusters, thay are strong and easy to handel, maybe the only point wicht i do not realy like is that thay are not realy scale, but with some work everyone can made tham look scale if thay want :-).

here comes the next update :-)
