Sherman Duplex Drive...

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Good evening guys.

New pics of my British Sherman duplex drive who landed on Sword Beach with the 13/18 hussars. It missing some markings and I need to repair some details of cover support.

I have change the bevel gears of propulsers and the paint is the scc 15 from ammo Mig. A lot of details, like the "flag" follow me on the rear cover, the big box rear the turret. Modification of the commander platform and more and more details.

I rebuild this Sherman, because last thursday and friday, I was invited by a crew to film my DD for a documentary for the French TV about Omaha Beach and try to understand why a lot of Americans tanks DD have sinking.

And to understand, an experience has been made on military site in a basin that recreates the swell of june 6th 1944.

Pics are from today and after a lot of problems, my dd tank run again now...

My friend Yannick has painted the figure and have made the rear wheels by 3D.
