Thanks for looking in Guys.
My Self centring kit showed up today for the DX6i, so I am going to tackle that now.

Re: King Tiger Restoration.
Good Evening,
A little more progress fro you.
The Self Centre mod to my Spektrum DX6i went in with no problem at all.
Next up I added some paint to the lower hull so that i could progress the build.
I have used Halfords grey primer on the lower hull as this sticks very well to the aluminium tub. Tamiya and AK paints were used for the colouring in bit.
thee is still a very long way to go with this.
More soon,
All comments, criticisms and questions welcome.
Best Regards
Keith.

Keith,
Coming along beautifully it looks like. ;o) Now would be a great time while everything is opened up to put together a working convoy light for it.

Painless

Re: King Tiger Restoration.
ICE Monkey, Steenv, thanks for the kind comments.
Painless, Thank you, I'll have to look into the convoy lights, is this some thing that can be bought as a kit or will I have to get creative? Do you have any information on this Mod?
I have prepped and painted the wheel components today, I'll post some more progress photos tomorrow for you all.
Thanks again to everyone for looking in.
Best Regards
Keith.

Re: King Tiger Restoration.
Keith,
Good afternoon. The convoy lights can be modded up with brass tubing and a grain of rice LED. Also, there are really nice ones for sale on Welsh Dragon or one of the German sites like Axel's Modelbau
that you can just plug and play. ;o) Your King Tiger deserves excellent illumination.

Painless
