Hello everybody,
I'd like to show you a small project I started some time ago - 95% metal soviet T-34 :)
My drawings are based on factory blueprints found in a russian book.

As one photo is worth a thousand words I'll spare you my poor english - enjoy :) And if you have any suggestions don't hestitate to give me your comments.

From the begining - hull:

Hi,
This weekend I assembled the suspension and run a few test. Summarising - I'm in love with elmod flex module and option to use burshless motors :)

As planned I removed a few upper parts of turret's frame. Now I have easy access to the turret's interior.

Image

And this is machine gun mount. A few aluminium elents and some epoxy sculpting (?) mass.

Image

Behind the gerboxes I had some space so I decided to buid there my own smoke genrator. Well... if I fail there will be a nice trunk.

Finally I "invented" a method to make a wheel covers :) And here thay are:

Image

The spheres are made of 0,5mm thick lead sheet pressed in aluminium form with a steel bearing ball.
Upper part of hull is made of two parts - one will be a sort of cover allowing easy (I hope...) access to the interior.

Image

Barrel is a small experiment I undertook. To fix it in the turret I'm using a linear bearing (a small and cheap one, usually used in cnc machinery). As the result - my barrel is not hollow :( I had to use original steel rail because bearing didn't want to "cooperate" with bearing which is already fixed inside the gun mantlet.

Image

And this is little "something" I'm really proud of :)

I don't intend to start mass production :) My methods are not adequate - it took almost one hour to cut this ring.
And what's more important - this one is functional, yet not perfect.
