Taigen/Clark Board issue

Hi Everyone. I have a problem with my Taigen Tiger I. I have installed the Clark Board and everything seems to be running the way it should except for one issue that I can't figure out. The barrel recoil keeps cycling on its own when the power is turned on. I have checked the connections and everything checks out. I am wondering if the microswitch is at fault. If any of you wiring pros have ever seen or have found a solution to this issue, any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info just ask and I will try to answer it if I can.

Paul,

Did you move your recoil wire motor as per clark's website instruction or did you just plug everything in straight over from Taigen to clark ? Clark remapped the recoil/airsoft motor and the elvation so it sounds like you recoil might be tap into the neg- of the elevation motor.

Are you form the K/W area ?

Hi Paul,

Just was chatting with Dean about this. If it is a asiatam recoil which is what you have, the way it works is that the recoil motor starts pulling back, and then it hits the microswitch it triggers the sound/firing and also kills the power to the motor. There should be a thick red wire connected to the battery or the power switch that will then reset the motor (load it back up) for the next shot.

If it is the microswitch not working, you should be able to see it getting stuck when you fire, or not making contact when the recoil motor pushes back at the max range. If you can flip the turret over and watch it when you fire you should be able to see what is happening. The microswitch is purely mechanical so if it is malfunctioning you would be able to see it.
