hi, it loks like a figure i saw on ebay uk the sellers name is mitsu evo i think. He does a lot of 1.16 figures of tank crew/commanders to a high standard and is reasonably priced bid start. I have used him and rcomend him. Hope this is of use to you.

regards tiger tiger

Rob

i've seen quite a few items from mitsu evo an they are quite expensive imho.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Verlinden-120mm ... v4exp=true

this verlinden one looks quite similar. If it's the painting of the figure that puts you off you can send it to me and i'll do it for you. Or keep an eye on his auctions cos he releases them in dribs and drabs. i saw one of his figures (a tiger driver,so just the head and shoulders, go for £30+ !!!) But be patient !

Thanks for the reply doc, sorry for the delay in my answer the verlinden head is a definate contender but its the white parka look I am looking for.I have seen various other verlinden figures including this one

but I would like to paint it a distressed white ie he has lived in his clothes for a month or three :S you know it was white once but it will never be again :haha: thanks for the generous offer doc when it comes time to sort him out I may drop you a line if thats ok all the best . Rob

Hi Harlequin,

Don't know if this might interest you:

http://www.rctank.de/1-16-SCALE-GERMAN- ... r-jacket-1

I have made one of these, and they are a reasonable casting. A little bit rough in some details but ok. The head is moulded to the body so not an easy swap but it could be done if you wanted a different head.

Some alternative heads here:

I suspect the figure you originally saw has had the winter clothing moulded onto a donor body. Looks hand modelled to me rather than being a kit.

ther2 tank riders i have (see previous posts ) have the hooded jackets you mention but i'd be reluctant to modify them to fit into a turret (i seen one went for £50.00 and i think my 2 are better !) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201006386443? ... 1423.l2649

that would be a waste !

what i would do is buy the standard figure that you want and add milli to suit (add ahood on the back ! easy peasy lemon squeezy ! paint covers lots of ahem !) the commander you posted add a hood !

good luck
