New Unit Forming Down Under

Gidday Lads, got my act together & joined up this morning. Been a long time between my last tank build-some 30 odd years ago into 1/72-76 etc up to 1/35 on occassion. Recently got drawn back in by an HL Jagdpanther in a shopping centre going cheap !
Have now discovered to only my own surprise that the eyesight is not what it was, my life has more distractions & I seem to have less patience and much bigger fingers !
Will do my best to form a respectable unit of germany's finest hardware and see how they turn out.
From what Ive seen in this site, many of you are well connected to the you-beut parts & accessories up there, we are a little starved for that logistical support down here, more specifically the gold coast. But im sure now I can ask the right people where the good stuff is things should look up a bit.
Appreciate the site you've put together and the display of skills & patience is sensational.
Cheers
Juan

Juan hallo and welcome to the Forum, RC tanks Australia are recommended by modellers across the world for their helpful and fair treatment of their customers and I know that there are a number of other dealers in your country with a good name but in truth the internet means the world is your oyster, I have bought plasti-card from Australia, Photo-etch from China, upgrades from Germany, all you have to do is take care by asking us and anyone you trust who to recommend, I would recommend using PAY PAL in your transactions though.Any questions you have we will do our best to answer although it would be helpful if you restricted them to matters Armour, I don't think fish recipes are our strong suit! A belated happy new year to you and yours. shaun

Cheers Team

Will certainly rattle the cages as advised & see about getting access to the hotrod accessories. Just now have to get a handle on linking/uploading pictures of my 'kleine sturm gruppe' so I can try to expand the unit. First problem off the rank is the masive blunder of not doing suspension & gearbox upgrades right off the bat. Seems final drive issues run right through to HL replicas !
