I have got round to changing my heng long multi function unit it does not say it's the new RX18 unit so I'm presuming it's an older type but it does not swap straight over as I can't find the plugs that come from the main gun. Any help greatly appreciated

Picture is fuzzy but it looks like it is the trigger switch on the BB/IR. I think that need to go into CN3/MG 5 pin plug, pin 4/5. You might have to switch the wires if it doesn't work when you plug it in.
Is the wires coming from the BB/IR unit or is it coming from somewhere at the back of the turret ?

Hi Horses45,
I don't mean to contradict you Dave but I think it is the 2 pin plug from the micro switch on the airsoft mech. If this is the case it attaches to the CN3 gun flash port. It should be plugged into the two end pins nearest the 3 pin volume control port (I have marked a red cross on the attached pic). This lead triggers the main gun sound and track recoil.

It is not the elevation that is part of the separate 3pin lead (red white and black) which is correctly plugged into the 3 pin socket on the Main hull connector (this lead operates both the elevation and bb gun firing, there are only 3 leads because it uses a common ground connection).
It is definitely the lead from the microswitch at the back of the airsoft gun which acts as a trigger for the main gun sound and track recoil. I know it sounds a bit odd but it really does plug into the 5pin socket CN3. See my previous post.
