Hi Lads, now getting parts ready for a stug 3 g build, whats the best grade mr surface to use? 500 or 1000? thanks glen

500 for rough cast look, 1000 is finer. Hope that helps!

There is a 1200 also I think.

I used mr 500 on my Sherman, just build up the layers as needed.

You really don't have to go to cazy with trying to get rough cast surfaces. Look up pictures of the real thing and you will see many that are almost as smooth as the plastic your trying to rough up.
