hi all at last some pics of my converted heng long tiger, i started with a early heng long tiger 1, shaved the deck, opened up hatches and fitted metal ones with perescopes. shaved off tool set and added mato metal tool set. shaved off wrong aerial tube, added late cupola and turret late vents etc. Added lifting post on turret bin. Added new metal mg on front. Added front step up on front track bar. Added front handle on front of deck lid. Moved aerial to correct position. Added zimmerit. Shaved wrong convoy light. Added a rear reflecter. Added metal jack and retainers. Added late engine vent and armoured transmission covers. Upgraded the speaker. Added s mine dispensers. Removed smoke dispensers on turret. Fitted single front head light and wire lead. Painted in winter white and then t bagged to give a slightly surface rust effect but this doesnt show in the pics, and that is it. Thanks to all who gave advice on the way

Oh and also added wire grills to engine vents, added a few stowage bits on top of turret, added a torro mg to the cupola as this had better detail. painted wheel centre hubs red, painted the tank commander, replaced a faulty drive. umm think that is it now lol.

Beautiful winter cat right there. What did you use for the s-mine dispensers? I have yet to find something with the right diameter for the construction. Looks great, now get it out there and lose it in the snow.

thanks guys for the good feedback, palepainter i got the s mine dispensers from ebay they were part of a parts set for a torro tiger 1 which was under a tenner if i remember right, also part of the set was the cupola mg and frame which was better detail than the metal one that came with the cupola.

Thanks doc the rear convoy light on left rear is just painted as is the scratch built rear reflector at bottom rear left. I am doing another Tiger 1 with a taigen metal reinforced lower hull and the taigen rear end that came with it has the reflector moulded in and correctly only the one convoy moulded in on the left, that saves heaps of effort carefuly removing them on the heng long offerings. I have seen working convoy lights offered on ebay but cant remember the supplier

Great looking Tiger 1 tiger tiger, in ref to your point about the column light, Steve at Welsh Dragon sells them. I got one on my Mid Tiger. Well done...
