Thanks to Forgebear I just ordered a Mato cast upper hull. I plan on building a Super Sherman. Anybody have a set of HVSS with wheels they want to part with? I also need to four d the right electronics to get a nice diesel sound. I plan on using a Tamiya M51 turret and either T66 tracks or Tamiya stock tracks.

Where would I find a good sound option that depicts the Cummins V8 diesel? It would also need the gun sounds for main gun and machine gun.

Personally I don't mind the HENG LONG sounds... even though it's the same in all their tanks....definitely don't use the MATO sounds :haha: the start up might give you epileptic seizures ... as it revs up to a continuous idle

Tom's suggestion is probably the easiest and most economic if you need the sound

Good Luck

Is the Tamiya a diesel? The YouTube sounds like the same sound from the 105 Sherman.

May have found an option in the benedini m113 sound unit as its the same turbo diesel Cummins motor. Just need to add a canon sound
