What a subject Diesel

...I wouldn't know if the trend has reached Australia yet...but here in Hawaii... chopsticks have been around since I can remember lol.... the norm is an establishment will ask you what you prefer... yes we have forks and knives.... some places have sporks ...A good portion of the population here do choose chopsticks.... they are actually pretty handy... as basically it's an extension of your fingers

...you can pick up a grain of rice with them... and you know how you would have to scoop a load of peas... well with a chopstick you can pick them up one at a time...it's supposed to be good for the digestion.. but who knows...
the plus to chopsticks for sure... especially the plastic ones... is you can fabricate bits for your model
is it past Christmas there or Christmas day... anyway... Seasons Greetings .. best wishes to you and yours

Chops sticks ( Plastic ) are also VERY useful to put down into an engine through the spark plug hole to find 'Top Dead Centre' when the piston is at its highest point. Apart from that and modelling they are pointless ( Pun intended ) ..... Western civilisations invented the knife and fork to eat with.... proper tools for a proper job.....
....2 sticks are what chimps use to get termites and ants out of holes in the ground or logs...

.... Spot the man who cannot use chop sticks... and who doesn't want to learn !!

When I was in the far east (Borneo) we would go into the jungle, either walk or airdrop and either way we had to carry everything we needed on our backs. Chopsticks are light, easy to clean and use and quiet, bit of a bugger with soup though! shaun

Just think though Horses ...If you got 800 thousand of them ...you could build a really impressive piece of furniture
with a little water proofing.. would provide perfect seating for playing with tanks
