Hi Im Roland from the Philippines . Recently me and my friends got me into this tank wars in his back yard. All of us are using Tamiya tanks 2 Tiger 1 , 2 Super Sherman's , Pershing , King Tiger , Jagpanther, Russian JS 2 , Leopard and mine a Panther Type G. I joined the forums to learn more of conversion of my Tamiya MF 01 / DMD 03 to another system that will allow me to battle with them.

I had a problem during the build when both my units after running it in for 1 battery was not functioning at all. So Im left with a dead DMD and MF.

Need some help to convert this or if some of you guys out there are selling a DMD T03 and MF 01 unit I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Welcome. There are a bunch of the Tamiya units on Ebay. Not cheap, unfortunately.

Hi Roland, and welcome. I'm sure someone on here will be able to help with your problem. Have you put a separate post about it in the electronics section?

magandang araw roland,

If you can't find a replacement set of DMD-MFU over at Jason's store in ebay, you may change over to A Clark TK22T1 and Benedini-TBS mini.
I sold mine set deliberately to Germany and stick in Clark-Benedeni...Clark's IR base fits the Tamiya battle unit and can be easily modified to fit Impact's battle unit.

Tapos, ngayun, sounds like this: (soundset used is Benedini's Panther 5)

For recoil and elevation: servos easily done

You may opt for dual speakers...or splice (w/22 k resistor) if you want a single speaker.

Good Morning,
Welcome to the Forum, Roland. Sounds like you fellows over there have got quite the Tank Club going on. Seems as if your electronics issue is on the cusp of being sorted out as well.
Take some time to peruse the various threads and builds here. There is a wealth of useful experience and knowledge on tap.
regards,
Painless Wolf
