have striped it down have open up the front hull hatches.

surprised at how much tamiya paint it took for the hull had to quickly put a order in via the internet too make sure i had enough for the project

Hello daktari... your time frame is good... stick to your plan.... and if you are going to do zimmerit ... purchase the premade kit... the two other methods are time consuming ...also keep in mind... TIGERS have been around for a long time... and there are more than plenty detail and upgrade parts... so it's good to know when to hit the building brakes if you get my meaning ;)

and it never hurts to take an overview of some of the fantastic TIGER builds on the forum

Daktari,
Excellent, another Tiger 1 build to follow. ;o) You might look over Birger's thread about how to correct all of the things HL sort of skootched by with. Like Alpha said, be careful out there when looking at add-ons. *chuckles* Having fun! is the most important part.

Hi dak,

I would say don't hurry - but don't be as slow as me!

Change as little or as much as you want - but be warned: looking at some of the postings on this site (including mine) is like opening Pandora's box...

One thing I have to ask straight off - it looks as if most of your tools are separate and pop straight off. Is that right? If so that seems to be a new HL improvement.

I was noticing that as well. Good to see them stepping up the game. My KV had an all metal barrel, which came as a surprise to me.

The Tiger looks like it will bring some entertainment. Good luck on the adventure!

So i'm not going mad? Great!

If HL stock is turning out better then that's OK by me!

I feel like I should have waited... they corrected all kinds of things... turret location... and most of all that darn molded in shovel >:< ..... :lolno:

But I share your sentiments tanks

Hey palepainter... is any of the three you are working on the new version? if not... what's your opinion of that molded on shovel... me I didn't even want to touch it,,, knowing the hole it would leave in the hull 8O
