Hi all

I am a member of britmodeler ....a uk based club for kit modelers of all type's ..for ..land, sea, air and space .....anything and everything

Over there on britmodeller ..there is a thread that's just started as a group build 'celebrating D-Day .... and what i would like to propose is the same here but in 1/16 ...of course armour ...both allied and axis ..but lets see if we could also look at soft skins ...figures ..and perhaps even navy

Now what i like to see is very specific builds ...so its possible to pin point that tank ...that truck ...to a place and time ....

I like to see if there is much appetite for this ...its not a competition there are no prizes ....its just for fun

Just thought i say that we all have to finish building and have a complete item..ready for the invasion on the night of the the 5th june 2014
And the builds....i like to see start the 2 jan 2014 ....

I guess it would be great to ask people to sign up ..and say what they would' like to build ....

What i like to see from this is a positive drive ...to help each other achieve some cracking models ....that we can all be proud of ..as our salute to the men and women of all our armed forces ..

Thanks for the replies ....sorry jot been about that much ..work is very busy being ..christmas ...

There is no start date ,,,.as long as the build is complete for the 5th june .2014..... that way we can perhaps a gallery just for those finished builds ..

I've had a fellow member as if a beach fortification / gun emplacement would be acceptable .....yes that would and what a fab idea .... ..
