Am presently researching the mkt as much as I can prior to my first buy, and boy am I confused!

Will, Welcome to the Forum, We will ( pardon the pun ) do our very best to set you off in the right direction, I would advise you to begin by scrolling down the Forum and looking in at each site so that you get a feel for the place, by doing that many of your questions will be answered. Please do not be put off from asking questions, this gives us the chance to show how clever we are, Mastermind! PAH!!! they know nothing, please do take note of the blacklist and avoid the names you see there. we have suffered to bring these neer do wells to your attention, do not join us in more suffering, the recommended site is exactly that, Many top class dealers are to be found here and these are the people we buy from, although do make sure the dealer you are looking at is a recent entry, When you buy your Tanks, yes tanks, no one buys just one!You will probably want to upgrade and then paint them, the reference site is full of good ideas on paint schemes and the tip & tricks site has a section devoted to painting and weathering, anyway half the fun is exploring the site so I shall leave to it, have fun, we do. shaun

Hi whjohnson
Welcome to the forum.
Research before you buy, perfect, avoid disappointment later.
One or two went the other route, then found they did not really get what they wanted or it needed a major rework.
Best of luck with your choice.
Remember these toys are for us grown up children, so! Play and enjoy :/

hi old chap wot wot
pro version you say think it will have metal gears, track ,idlers, sprockets, they usualy do, not looked at there spec. a general rule is the track should start to sit on the second roadwheel in, this may be done with extra links then you may not need track ajusters but each to is own ,the taigan metal hull may be your next port of call, and when you go crazy and need physciatric help get yourself a Sherman wot wot ........
